Miranda and Ryan said they didn't take photos often and don't really have many good ones of themselves together.

And then they want and BLEW THIS SESSION OUT OF THE WATER.

You can't even tell we were all wearing boots and had just been through a record breaking about of Iowa snow. There were some parts that we waded through knee deep snow to get to this shallow spot. Not to mention the wind made this one of my top five coldest shoots ever.

And because of ALL of that, it turned out to be BEAUTIFUL. 

Miranda and Ryan are both electricians that met on the job. Work lead to love and they are set to be married at Walnut Ridge in Shellsburg, IA. They selected this venue because it would sett of Miranda's black wedding dress nicely.

A note about the ring: Ryan selected this ring for Miranda and had to travel to New York to get it. A stone like that has to be a specialty order.
